Who do I invite to my destination wedding?

by | Guestlist

The task of choosing who to invite to your wedding is daunting to any couple no matter if they are staying home or going away to tie the knot. However, it is especially difficult when the guest has to pay to come with you.

So what do you do?

The answer is actually quite simple, invite everybody! There is no harm in inviting a guest that can’t tag along. The invite is essentially your way of saying, “I would love to have you there but I understand if you can’t.” You’re not forcing anyone to accept so breathe and mail those invites!

Even with at home weddings there are guests who can’t make the date so don’t feel like you have to settle to include everybody.

Plus! Many hotels that hold weddings have webcams, so those at home can watch the ceremony and be apart of the celebration.

The invitation list is nothing to stress over and neither is your big day. If a guest is on the fence about attending just tell them what you already know.

A destination wedding is a chance for week-long memories of nieces and nephews, children and grandchildren, aunts and uncles and many more all together in the sun.

Not to mention, it’s more than 24 hours for both sides of the new family to get to know each other. It’s a winning situation for everybody and a stress-free solution for you and your spouse!
